Wheel offset affects how far the wheel sits in or out of your guards. The wrong offset can cause rubbing or make your tyres stick out illegally. WA law only allows a track increase up to +50 mm for 4WDs without engineering approval. We calculate offset to suit your tyres, suspension, and legal limits.

Bolt pattern (PCD) is the number of studs and spacing (e.g., 6×139.7). It must match your hub exactly—there’s no wiggle room here. At Elite Tune, we check PCD, offset, and load ratings before fitting, so you get wheels that are safe, legal, and properly seated.

The best size depends on your ute’s factory specs, how you drive, and WA’s road laws. For most modern dual cabs, 17–18 inch wheels with tyres up to +50 mm larger than OEM (the legal limit for 4WDs) provide a good balance of clearance, traction, and comfort. Bigger tyres can improve off-road performance but may require a suspension upgrade or guard modifications. We’ll measure your setup and recommend a size that’s legal, safe, and suited to your needs.

• All-Terrain (A/T) tyres – Great for mixed use. They’re quieter on the highway, last longer, and still handle off-road tracks, gravel, and sand well. Perfect if you daily drive your 4WD but still want weekend off-road capability.
• Mud-Terrain (M/T) tyres – Built for extreme off-road. They grip through mud, rocks, and clay but can be noisier, heavier, and wear faster on-road. Ideal for serious off-roaders and work utes in harsh conditions.
