Top notch service from the boys at Elite tune, brought my 2020 Dmax in for a timing chain inspection and a valve clearance and they did an amazing job right from me walking through the doors handing the keys in and grabbing my keys and driving off the parking lot. Customer service was excellent, the team were very accommodating and extremely friendly, when I got my Ute back the engine bay was extremely neat and tidy after having the rocker cover off etc, I personally couldn’t be happier knowing I made the right call and took my vehicle to Elite Tune, definitely will be going back for any further servicing or repairs.Thankyou team !

Thankyou Elite Tune for your expertise and service on our newly purchased 2016 BT50. We came with a lot of questions and i cannot fault the communication and service we received. I was most impressed with the cleanliness of the workshop. Elite Tune present them selves very well. The workshop was full of cars which was reassuring, and we were able to get the car booked in in a relatively quick time frame. Their estimate was spot on (actually the final bill was slightly cheaper, which was a nice surprise) and we have received excellent aftercare service so far. We will be returning to Elite Tune for future work on our car.Special mention to Wazza, who dealt with all our enquiries and was super helpful, this was much appreciated.

How long does it take to install a snorkel?

Most snorkel installations take half a day to a full day depending on the vehicle and whether an upgraded airbox is fitted at the same time. This includes guard cutting, rust-proofing, sealing, and pressure testing to ensure everything is watertight.

What is a snorkel?

A snorkel raises your 4WD’s air intake to roof height. This allows the engine to draw in cooler, cleaner air, reducing dust ingestion and protecting against water entry during creek or river crossings.

What is an airbox?

An airbox is a sealed chamber that houses the air filter and directs intake air into the engine. Upgraded airboxes are built stronger and more watertight than factory units, with improved airflow and filtration for harsh off-road conditions.

Does installing an airbox void warranty?

A correctly installed snorkel will not void your vehicle warranty. We use vehicle-specific snorkels, proper sealing, and anti-corrosion treatments to protect your 4WD and keep your servicing history intact.

Do you have to retune after installing a snorkel?
